It really is worth while to crochet scarves, yesterday I got a beautiful, really delicious cake with a felted heart as a thank you. I love chocolate, and in the cake, there was mint chocolate. Heavenly. I must try to get the recipe.

Äsken sytyttäessäni valot, olohuoneen kattolampusta (3 spottia) meni TAAS yksi lamppu! Vastahan sen viikkonloppuna vaihdoin... Olikohan viallinen vai mitä?

Just a moment ago, when switching on the living room lights, one of them went black! Again, I just changed it last weekend.... I wonder if it was faulty or what?

Käsityörintama etenee, tosin hieman hitaasti muiden kiireiden (no, jaa ei kiireiden, vaan tekemisten) vuoksi. Kotiin päästyäni menin ihan kirjaimellisesti mahani viereen nukkumaan ;)

Knitting goes on, though a bit slowly due to some other busy business (well, not so busy...). On Sunday I was baby sitting, and with two so lively kids under five it's rather difficult to do anything. On Monday evening the whole staff (well, nearly) had our Christmas dinner at Vanha Pappila, which I've mentioned already earlier. Absolutely fantastic food (especially the swede casserole and mushroom salad (both are Finnish specialities)). And we ate a lot. Too much. After coming home I went to bed, literally, to sleep beside my belly ;)

Mutta asiaan! Vaihtolapaset on aloitettu, tosin vähän hidastekoinen systeemi. Ei paljasteta enempää. Samoin aloitin itselleni puseroa. Tosin rakastan villasukkia...

Back to business! I've started the mittens to be exchanged, though they are kind of slow to knit. Let's not reveal anymore yet. I also began a sweater for myself. Though the yarn, Nalle, is 100% wool, so I wonder, when it is going to be so cold (I mean inside the house), so that I can wear it? Because I am the person who's always complaining that it's too hot in the house. Still I do love woollen socks.

This will be a sweater - some time soon I hope! The yarn is multicoloured Nalle, so actually totally different from the picture... (there should be different shades of read, no pink!) I'll really need a new, tidy and cute sweater already next Monday, when we have the Independence Day Celebrations at school (I'm a teacher). Then we also give the white caps to our new graduates, who have passed their matriculation examination. And I'll have to be on stage with the head master to give them. I'm still wondering when and where I said yes to this task?!?
