Hirmuinen pino kirjoja koulunkirjastoon (kädet meinasivat katketa).

A day in Jyväskylä.
A present for my godson for his confirmation (he had wished for a gift voucher for a sports store, and that is what he'll get).
A huge pile of books for the school library (I nearly broke my hands). While in the book store, my mobile rang and my beloved relative didn't understand that I couldn't speak there even though I told so. So we spoke for half an hour.
Cloth! I'm going to sew. Otherwise it might not seem such a big challenge, but tricot.... That's always a battle. But life would be pretty dull without challenges.
I managed to avoid the yarn shops in the town centre, but went to Prisma (a hypermarket) to find some new Finnish yarns. Found one, beautiful green (the colour not being a surprise to anyone....). While fingering the yarns, a total stranger, a lady began talking about yarns and crafts. And as it happens, she too is a teacher and addicted to knitting. But didn't know anything about internet and knitting....
I took a two hour nap....

The laughter of the day!!! I know that not everyone is as interested in languages as I am, but everyone is supposedly proud of his/her own language. My SecretPal10 group hostess sent a mail where she recommended The Babel Fish. It "translates" texts from one language to another automatically. I really had to try it. Of course, it doesn't know any Finnish, but I do have some English in my blog.... Oh, I laughed and laughed and.... Translating the English parts into French was ok (well, partly it translated word by word and made awful mistakes
with the grammar "elles étais" - well it's a machine), but the Finnish... Well, it probably tried its best... horrific, but made me laugh...  I leave it for a while there on the left hand side. At least I can cheer myself up on a rainy day :)
