My fingers are itching, my mind is spinning around and my eyes are gleaming! No, I haven't gone nuts. There are two things in my mind. First, Marimekko is having a sale on their bags -20%. Could I finally invest some (!) money on a proper bag, a bag the shoemaker needn't repair every autumn? They are still expensive, but....So, do I go to Jyväskylä tomorrow (or some time next week)? The other thing is much easier to realize and much more fun and definitely at least as chic (forever the optimist!). Today the mail brought something, which may give a clue:

Oranssi paperinaru on luonnossa huomattavasti oranssimpaa, sellaista kauniin, loistavan poltettua oranssia.

No, the mail didn't include a loom and paper yarn - those are just for the picture, because I didn't remember that I need to take pic and I just watered my garden soaking wet. Well, actually the expression "soaking wet" is rather wishful thinking - in July in rained 2½ times. The half is the time when the asphalt nearly got wet. The paper yarn+a jute warp combination will hopefully turn into beautiful tablets onto the kitchen table. The orange paper yarn is in real life much more vibrant and orangy.

Postissa tuli Koolatessa roiskuu - kisan palkinto. Kiitos!

The other things in the pic are the prize in the lottery in the blog called Koolatessa roiskuu (something like "Splashing when KoolAiding"). Maija is one of my favourite yarns when knitting socks and mittens, and my very own KoolAid supply can always take some restocking. Now my stock is starting to be so massive that maybe, if I don't decide to go to Jyväskylä, tomorrow I could do some splashing....Thanks!
