Kiitos ystävällisistä sanoistanne - lohdullista tietää, että meitä on monta, sillä tuttavapiirissäni olen ainut.

Tämä päivä on silti ollut upea. Ensin ahkeroin: terassikivien välit on puhdistettu kaiken maailman rikkaruohoista - ainakin hetkeksi :) Palkkioksi nautiskelin lämpimässä auringossa ihanaa teetä, itsetehtyä perunarieskaa ja salaattia. Koko ajan vieressä pöydällä tuijottivat syyttävästi sukat - päättelijäkeijua odoteltiin. Ja saapuihan se.

Today has been fabulous. First I was busy as a bee: the gaps between the tiles on the patio floor got weeded out - at least for a while :) As a prize I enjoyed lovely tea, self baked unleavened potato bread and salad in the warm sun shine. And all the time there was a pair of socks on the table next to me staring accusingly - we were waiting for the weave-in-the-ends-fairy. And it arrived.

Menekki 96g.
Puikot: 3mm bambut.

Pattern: Once again the same, old, traditional lace sock. And for a change with the traditional (German?) heel. (Confession: I don't yet know by heart different kinds of heels, I always need to look them up somewhere for a bit of help and the the first heel of these socks was knitted in a meeting so I couldn't look it up.)
Yarn: Two different age old remnants, which I got for free and then KoolAided to my liking. Originally they were beige (red) and light turquoise (brown-green). 96 grams.
Needles: 3mm bamboo.

Way too big for my feet but they'd better be since the recipient has a lot bigger feet than I do!
