Voi miksi...? 1. Ihmiselle on laitettu poskiontelot. Eilen "iski" akuutti allergiakohtaus ja nyt poskiontelot on täynnä jotain mikä ei tule ulos, särkee vaan. Kokemuksesta tiedän, että särkee vähintään vielä huomisen ja sitten pikkuhiljaa helpottaa. Huonolla säkällä särkee viikon. 2. Virkatessa jotain toistuvaa kuviota (tällä kertaa sellaisia toisiinsa liitettäviä osioita) ensimmäiset ovat aina omasta mielestä ihan ok, mutta sitten kun niitä tekee enemmän käsiala tiukkenee kokoajan, ja ne ensimmäiset alkaa näyttää hölmöiltä, mutta niitä ei voi enää purkaa, koska ne ovat jo kiinni työssä. 3. Kaupassa ei ollut Fazerin mariannemurskasuklaata (mikä suklaalakko?). 4. En aina jaksa ymmärtää murrosikäisen pojan ajatusmaailmaa - keskustelimme tänään pitkään pakolaisista ja pakolaisuudesta. 5. Hiihtolomaan on vielä 2½ viikkoa ja olympialaisiinkin 3 yötä! 6. Miesten jalat on niin isoja. Sukista tulee jättikokoiset. Ja niiden tekeminen kestää.

Oh why...? 1. Why do humans have sinuses? Yesterday evening, an acute allergic reaction "hit" me, and now my sinuses are full of something that won't come out, it just aches and hurts. I know from experience that it'll hurt at least for a day more, with bad luck for a week. 2. When crocheting some small pattern that is repeated several times (which are then joined together) the first ones are always ok, but after you've made more of them, your crocheting ("handwriting") tightens, and the first ones begin to look ridiculous, but you can't undo them, because they have already been joined into the work. 3. There wasn't any of my favourite chocolate in the shop (did I ever promise to stop eating chocolate?) 4. I just can't always force myself to understand a teenage boy's thoughts - today we had a long and animated discussion about refugees. 5. The winterholiday is still 2½ weeks away and 3 more nights to the knitting olympics! 6. Men's feet are so big. The socks will be enourmous. And knitting them takes a long time.
