Miesten sukat valmistuivat hetki sitten. No, näistä tuli lähes samanpariset sukat. Minua, perfektionistia, häiritsee tuo kuvioiden melkein onnistuminen. Miten ihmeessä tuota lankaa on keksitty tehdä?

Olympialaisissa tarvittavat välineet on aseteltu olohuoneen pöydälle lähtökuoppiin. No, piti sitten tehdä kauralastuja...

The men's socks got finished a minute ago. They'll be going to my dad, they'll probably fit ok. And he doesn't care about the (un)succesful colouring. I just can't understand that in the paper around the yarnball (What is it called in English? the paper I mean), there is no instructions at all (except the recommended needlesize) and still there is a pretty picture of socks with patterns, which the yarn is supposed to form? So, is it supposed to form those patterns with any number of stitches? Well, these are nearly identical. But I, the perfectionist, am still bothered with this "nearly identical". But it was nice enough yarn to knit with. The colours in the pic are about right. How on earth did anyone think of making yarn like this? And how is it done? How did they decide the length of each colour bit?

All the equipment needed in the Olympics has been set on the sitting room table. Before "go" I still have a couple of hours to crochet. The room service works and doesn't work. The cleaning of the house has been done, but there is no chocolate!. So, I had make some oaty biscuits...
